Andrew Moffat has worked as a full time teacher for 20 years. In that time he has worked as a classroom teacher, teacher in a behaviour unit, nurture group teacher, AST in behaviour management and inclusion, Healthy Schools Advisor (Emotional health and Wellbeing), Assistant Head Teacher and Manager of a Resource Base. He currently works as Assistant Head Teacher in a large primary school in Birmingham.
Andrew has a M’Ed in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and is also a qualified Senco. He is working part time on a PhD at the University of Birmingham on the role of schools in countering terrorism. In 2017 Andrew was made MBE for services to equality and diversity in education.
